Due to what appears to have been an honest accident, much of Christian's dialogue was still left in the game before she shipped out, but the devs have seemed to just roll with it and officially credit both Christian and Leigh for Gaige's voice for the game (in 3, they stuck to Leigh as the sole actress). According to Leigh, Christian was indeed who Gearbox originally casted, but partway through the recording process, they changed their mind (allegedly because Christian couldn't get the rebellious "edge" for the character they wanted) and brought in Leigh, who re-recorded the script. Gaige had a complicated case of this mixed with The Other Marty: most of what you normally hear of Gaige is by Luci Christian, but many of her more intense lines ( mainly while stacking up on Anarchy) are provided by Cherami Leigh.Both Roland and Mordecai's voice actors changed hands - Roland now sounds less gangsta and more leader-y, while Mordecai has an accent.Subverted with the Nintendo Switch port, which didn't launch with it despite releasing after the DLC, but got it later on. It is not available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Play Station Vita or even the Linux ports note Though Proton might help, although given how the Linux port was once the shining textbook example of a port done right, this just served to upset those who prefers the Native port even further.

Morgan Berry: I don’t play all of the games that I voice in but I loved my experience voicing characters in Borderlands 3! I know there are a lot of fans of the series. Nyriad's story is fleshed out throughout the glyphs located by the players - including how she destroyed billions of lives to power the Pyre that sealed away the Destroyer for the good of the world - something which haunts her. One of the Non Playable Character Sirens is Nyriad, the long-dead Siren who translates Eridian Glyphs for the Vault Hunters. This includes multiple Sirens - not simply the Vault Hunters that are shown or are playable characters. Fans of the franchise are more than aware that the large universe of Borderlands contains numerous beings.
